Creative Spring Wedding at Court in the Square
Bridget and Nolan’s wedding at Court in the Square was so special to be a part of! From the sweet couple, the intimate group of friends and family, the personally designed invites and paper goods, and the laid-back timeline for the day, it was a dream to capture!
Bridget got ready at a nearby hotel, and we planned to walk an alley by the venue for the first look once she was ready. Right as she finished getting dressed, the rain picked up and the sounders game ended (on the same block as the hotel and venue), so we had to change plans at the last minute! I am SO glad we did, because we ended up doing the first look inside their beautiful natural light venue, which was much warmer and quieter than the city would have been!
The venue itself is stunning, and florals by Blooms & Twine made it come to life! We snuck away with the couple to the rooftop for some cityscape photos, and we are so happy with how they turned out! After family photos, the sun peeked through the clouds, and we were able to walk around Pioneer Square with the couple and their MOH + best man for about 30 minutes!
The sun continued for the ceremony, which made for some incredible light for photos! The speeches made both of us tear up, and they had live music which is SO much fun for guests!! We were even able to sneak away one more time for some evening portraits, something that Bridget was super excited about! We were super thankful to be a part of this day and to work with the amazing vendors listed below! If you’d like to see another reception at Court in the Square, click here!
Sweet words from the couple!
I was originally referred to check out Breanna by another photographer that had moved out of state. The photographer sent over a list of her favorite Seattle-area photographers, and after hitting Breanna’s portfolio, my decision was made!
I truly believe that your photographer is your most important investment on your wedding day. Your photos allow you to look back and be able to relive those moments, and how you felt. Looking back on our photos was so incredible.
Breanna was so sweet and flexible and met us for an engagement session right by our home, which was so nice to get comfortable posing, and in front of her camera. My husband hates having his photo taken, but Breanna made him feel so comfortable, and after seeing how well our engagement photos turned out, he became more comfortable, and was much less nervous about the photo portion of the wedding day.
Wedding planning was one of the most stressful times of my life, and I am so glad we were able to spend the day with Breanna and Kevin. They immediately felt like friends we had known since college, and kept the mood light even when we were getting anxious. Breanna and Kevin gave subtle cues on posing to help you look your best, without taking away from the real candid moments as they are happening. Breanna and Kevin made us feel immensely comfortable, and it shows in our photos.
We can’t stop going back through our gallery. I highly recommend these two, and I hope to return to them for anniversary shoots in the future!
We couldn’t have asked for a better team for their day!
