Back in September, our good friend Faith from Emerson & Host asked if we’d want to be a part of a styled shoot, and have it set up for a really intimate group (ya know, 2020 style). It was such a blast putting this together with amazing local vendors, and so many high school friends (shout out to some of our models + hair gal!) Our work was published on Inside Weddings, and we are so thrilled that this creative labor of love all came together so beautifully.
We had three couples modeling for the shoot, so we were able to show off a few different looks from The Dress Theory and Generation Tux! Here is a snippet from the feature on Inside Weddings:
“Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding or an extravagant soirée, incorporating romantic elements into the décor of both the ceremony and reception is of the utmost importance. In order to inspire brides and grooms in the midst of planning a romantic celebration, Seattle-based planning, floral, and event design company Emerson & Host coordinated a stunning shoot to display three different bridal looks and a gorgeous ceremony and reception in a modern greenhouse at Seattle’s Almquist Winery. The theme of the shoot was “Modern Romance” – with everything designed to highlight elegance and formality with a base of natural tones and textures. “We paired the romantic neutral tones and textures of French Château architecture, surrounded by classic gardens, with an elegant modern Seattle greenhouse, creating the best of both modern and classic worlds,” shares Faith Jaeger of Emerson & Host. “
Thanks to all of the amazing vendors for making this happen!
