I’ve known Malia for over a decade, and have done her family photos the last few years! I was so thrilled when she got engaged to Kyle and they asked us to do their engagements! They are planning for a 2023 wedding in Cabo!
They recently moved to Oregon and asked if we were going to be near them for an engagement session at Smith Rock! The timing worked out perfectly, because back in May we had a double header in Idaho + Oregon (yup, you read that right)! Our wedding on Saturday was at Priest Lake Idaho, and then we drove to Moses Lake that night to stay with Kevin’s parents house, and backed up our photos on the drive over. We got about 5 hours of sleep, and then took off for our next wedding in the morning! It was a 6 hour drive to Bend Oregon, and we had a local air bnb after the wedding. All of that was already booked, and when they reached out about Smith Rock, we were so happy that our air bnb was less than an hour away!
They brought their son Shy, and it was the sweetest engagement + family session! Smith Rock in Oregon was amazing, and it was so fun to shoot at a new spot with totally different landscape then we are used to!
