Back in January, before we all knew what was looming within the next couple months, Kevin and I decided to start looking for a studio space to rent! I wanted to grow my boudoir business (@blushwithb), as well as have a space for maternity sessions, or just an escape from the rain for families + engagements! We decided on The Studio in pioneer square, and there was an opening on the lease starting March 1st. We couldn’t sign fast enough, and I was so excited to have my little side business that I was doing on my own.
Well, you all know how the rest of 2020 played out. Photography wasn’t considered essential until June, and boudoir/photos in general understandably weren’t a priority for a lot of people, so we didn’t get to use the studio as much as we hoped. We did have some amazing sessions there though! We got to capture some families + newborns this summer, and we had an afternoon of mini sessions in the fall. We are absolutely obsessed with the light in this space, and wanted to share some studio work from this year! Our lease is up at the end of February, but I have blocked out the following dates if anyone else wants to get some photos taken before we’re no longer offering as many studio sessions.
